o The far right's attack on democracy and the institutions that support it is one of the most important challenges facing our nation. As a congressional Representative I would work to hold accountable those who seek to destroy our democracy. o Our failure to combat climate change is another important challenge facing our nation. I will support passage of legislation that will significantly reduce our dependence on on fossil fuels and protect the planet.
o I support passage of legislation to provide a living wage. I believe a person who works 40 hours per week must make enough money to be above the poverty line. An hourly wage that keeps a full-time worker in poverty is unacceptable. o I will do everything within my power as a Congressional Representative to ensure the Offshore Wind industry comes to NJ with all the jobs it will bring with it. It will bring job opportunities for highly-skilled individual as well as lower-skilled individuals to our state.
o I support the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2021 and would work hare to ensure its passage. o I would like to same day registration.
o I believe one of the most important reforms needed in our immigration system is more asylum judges. Immigrants seeking asylum should have their cases heard in a timely fashion. Those who are granted asylum can then get legal status and join the work force. It would give the immigrants legal status and an opportunity to legally contribute to the American economy. Those who are not granted asylum would not be granted entry via the asylum system. o I want to see immigration reform that gives DACA recipients a pathway to citizenship o I want our immigrations system to be fair and humane.
o I would continue the Biden investment in renewable energy with a goal to reduce and extremely limit our dependence on fossil fuels. I would strongly support Offshore Wind as well a solar installation. o I would like to see the infrastructure money used to build out the charging network throughout the country to make the move to electric vehicles happen more quickly o I would like to see the government continue to incentivize individual citizens to reduce their carbon footprint o I would like to see government subsidies to the fossil fuel industry eliminated
o Returning women’s reproductive rights to women is one of my highest priorities. Federal legislation is needed to ensure that any women who wants or needs to terminate a pregnancy can work with her doctor to achieve the appropriate outcome. o A woman’s zip code should not determine her access to healthcare. Abortion was never meant to be a “states’” issue. It is a woman’s issue in conjunction with her doctor. o Forced pregnancy is NEVER OK.

o Although there are many foreign policy challenges facing the United States, I believe Putin’s aggression against sovereign nations is the biggest. If Putin succeeds in his takeover of Ukraine, he will continue. I believe we need to continue to provide Ukraine with the equipment, ammunition and training needed to defeat Russia.
