Oregon Judge of the Court of Appeals Position 2

The Oregon Court of Appeals has jurisdiction to consider appeals of most civil and criminal cases and most state administrative agency actions. The exceptions are appeals in death penalty, discipline of lawyers and judges, and Oregon Tax Court cases, which go directly to the Oregon Supreme Court. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, qualified electors of their county of residence, members of the state bar, and under the age of 75.Term: 6 years. This position is nonpartisan.
