I have been a Town Meeting for nine years, served four years on the Advisory Committee, the Select Board Climate Action Committee, Driscoll Building Advisory Committee, the Land Bank Study Committee, and currently serve on the Community Preservation Act (CPA) Committee as Vice Chair. The CPA Committee reviews and recommends CPA funds to:

...Acquire, create, preserve, support affordable housing... ...Acquire, create, preserve, rehabilitate parks, open space... ...Acquire, preserve, rehabilitate historical resources... ...With the aim of promoting, enhancing, and improving the quality of life in Brookline. Endorsements: PAX and B4E
I serve as an elected Town Meeting (TM) voter. Executive bodies propose budgets, but only TM voters have the power to approve appropriations, and also other major powers such as authorizing land or real property purchases, bonding & borrowing, and changing zoning & general bylaws.

This involves reading and debating the Executive’s recommendations, the legislation on the agenda, and 500–1000 pages of reports.

I am a voice and advocate regarding parks, streets, schools, and the public domain in precinct 11, listen to your concerns, respond to your questions, and approach heads of departments, who generally have an open door for TM Members, to be your advocate. Occasionally I have drafted legislation for Town Meeting favorable action.

Hello! I've lived in Brookline since 2008 and am mom to two kids who attended BEEP, Driscoll, & BHS. I joined Town Meeting in 2020 during the pandemic in order to help the Town move safely through that frightening time, as well as work on other Town issues that affected residents and visitors. I have actively participated in Town matters for many years, including organizing a successful petition to improve Brookline’s sanctuary city policies in 2017. I am a licensed mental health therapist, an adjunct professor at BU, and a researcher. I care about Brookline and hope to help create a community which is diverse, supportive, & welcoming for all who live, work, or visit here. Endorsed by Brookline Equity Coalition & Brookline for Everyone.
My responsibility to Precinct 11 is multifaceted; I am always available to my constituents on any issue on which they have a question or need support. My responsibilities to the precinct are based on supporting residents in the precinct, advocating for new policies that benefit Brookline, and working with other elected officials to advance new ideas and projects which best serve the town. Affordable housing is currently an issue that I care deeply about, as Brookline is becoming increasingly unaffordable for many individuals and families. Climate change, equity, community best practices, and protecting residents from stigma and discrimination (i.e., racism, antisemitism, anti-Arab, and anti-LBGTQIA+) are other issues which matter to me.

I moved to Coolidge Corner with my family 7 years ago for a postdoc at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and fell in love with the town and the neighborhood. I currently work as a scientist in the rare disease area at Alnylam, a biotech company. My wife Nitsan also works in Biotech, and we have two awesome kids that both attend the FRR school.
As a representative for the precinct, my major responsibility is to take every vote seriously, educate myself on the topic, and do my best to vote in a way that aligns with the values of those that elected me. I believe in transparency and welcome engagement and communication via email.
