As an effective elected TMM I’ll try to be responsive to the needs of my constituents within the parameters of the democratic guidelines that govern my involvement and participation in Brookline Town Government. For more than two, plus, decades I've focused on fairness (and sometimes) responded to the minority or opposing points of view so that a wide range of my constituents feel they have been adequately heard and represented. My telephone number is public and I read and answer my emails regularly when contacted. I walk and ride my bike in and around P6 and interact routinely with many constituents when I do. I see myself as a dedicated community servant and almost always act accordingly. I thank you for your vote in advance.

Brookline is a wonderful place to live, and I’m passionate about continuing to make our town a more sustainable and welcoming place for all by representing Precinct 6 at Town Meeting. If re-elected, I'd aspire to ensure that the diverse needs and concerns of Precinct 6 residents are reflected in the public process, with regard to both precinct- specific and town-wide issues. Whether through email, a phone call, or a conversation in the park or at a public event, constituents know that I'll always make time to actively listen and help get their questions and concerns addressed, as well as offer guidance on how they themselves can become more engaged in the public process around issues they care about.

I have lived in Brookline for nineteen years, 2000-2007 with my wife Sherry, and 2012-present with Sherry and our two daughters (Ellie & Meg, 10th & 5th Grade - BHS & Pierce). I graduated from Purdue University in 1996 (Computer Engineering/History) and from Boston University in 2002 (MBA & MSIS). I’ve worked in High Tech for over 27 years as an engineer, manager, and director. I have a passion for Brookline history and I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and doing home improvement projects
My responsibility to my precinct is to listen and understand their needs, help them with issues related to the Town and the various boards and Commissions, and represent them at Town Meeting. I communicate and engage by walking around and meeting people, and talking with them on the streets, in the parks, and at the schools.

I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1998 (Computer Science), worked as a developer for a few years, and then co-founded a Cybersecurity software company which I managed for 20 years. I retired from my role in 2023, and now have more time for non-profit and civic activities. I serve on the boards of Tufin, YPO Seacoast Integrated and Futures Forge, an organization dedicated to revolutionizing tertiary education. I also volunteer as a startup mentor with IAC Edge. With my wife Adi, we have three children who have all attended Brookline public schools (one is currently a senior at BHS).
I’m running for Town Meeting because I would like to see Brookline thrive and maintain its uniqueness as a welcoming, friendly community for everyone with great schools and high engagement. At Town Meeting I would be a measured voice with a focus on: • Ensuring that the new Pierce building is successfully completed; • Providing proper Town services to all residents, as new housing developments are being planned and built; • Maintaining the excellence of our school system. I plan to meet with as many residents as possible, and am always available and open to getting feedback and input on things that matter to people in the precinct.

Before Brookline, my wife and I had nine mailing addresses in nine years, but when it was time to raise our children, we came back here.

Since returning, we've added solar & heat pumps to our home; I’ve worked for Warrant Articles and spoken to the Select Board, most recently for the long-overdue Pierce project; I've brought my kids to BLM marches and to walk picket lines. My wife and I put our time, our money, and our family where our values are.

Put simply, Brookline is the best place I know of. Nowhere else I’ve found the same blend of quiet and exciting and diverse; of transit-accessible parks & schools; of great restaurants and stores a short walk away. And we have a government and citizenry dedicated to improving it all. Let's go!
I bike my kids to school; we walk to Brookline Village and Coolidge Corner and to Cypress Playground and to the library; when the weather's nice, I work on my laptop in our parks and parklets. Our community is out and about in a way that connects us foundationally, to the benefit of us all — my responsibility is to work as hard as I can to build more of that connectedness into our daily lives.

Our town government is messy but accessible. My responsibility is to help anyone I meet out, or who emails or calls me, with any question at all, navigate how the things work and what we can do together to make our lives better.

This year, my responsibility is to do everything I can to get Pierce rebuilt on time and on budget.

I’ve lived in Brookline since the age of three. I recently returned home to Perry Street with two of my six children. Having recently separated from my husband of 13 years and the loss of my mother, Faye Mucha, I was missing my childhood home and my family.

Brookline is my home, and I want to do all I can to ensure that we are doing right by our community in every way.
Town Meeting members should be present at as many meetings as possible to ensure that the voices of their constituents are heard. With that in mind, I want to share information via my campaign page that I feel may be important to my constituents. I will also send out emails and, upon their request, meet with them individually or in groups.
