West Salem School District Board Member

The school board is the legislative body of a school district. The school board adopts the annual school district budget and a strategic plan that includes district goals, initiatives and projects. They are also responsible for policies regarding student learning, curriculum, instruction and assessment, parents and community, and personnel. Voters elect board members to represent their district for a three-year term in nonpartisan elections. There are no term limits.

Community Involvement Help coach youth sports
Project manager for road construction company. I grew up in West Salem and have a great appreciation for raising a family in a small community. I feel my 23 yrs in construction can help with navigating facility concerns.
To make sure our youth have the tools to succeed after school.
I think they have done a great job. With having 3 kids in the school district I have been pleased with the staff that support our kids.
I think the school news letter is very good sorce of information. But am open to suggestions from the community.
