I am running because I love libraries in general and our library in particular and it is a privilege and honor to be part of running a leader among libraries. My priorities are to continue to provide outstanding services and facilities within the constraints of our budget, to ensure that the library is accessible and welcoming to all our residents, and to attract, retain and support excellent staff,
Relevant Experience
Incumbent Lib Trustee, vice-chair Advisory Board, Chair Wellesley Dept of Human Resources,Attorney,
I am seeking re-election to continue the outstanding work of the library board, its director and our terrific staff. Through their hard work, creativity and dedication they have made our Library into a award winning institution, recognized nationally as a "Star Library. I will continue to promote the belief that our Library is a unique institution for the transmission of culture and learning. From its children’s programs, upper school study rooms, media centers, sponsorship of cultural events and technology education, the library has become the jewel in Wellesley’s crown. Further, I recognize the importance of a free library in a changing world.
