It is critical that the next school board members are able to work together with parents, teachers, and SCS administration to ensure that all of our students have access to a high-quality education, emphasizing personalized pathways to success. I will focus on expanding the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, advocating for increased support for special education, access to high quality facilities, and addressing staff pay competitiveness. I am dedicated to the holistic improvement of the educational experience for all.
I am dedicated to a listening-to-learn approach, staying open to new ideas, concerns, and input, ensuring that the voices of the school community shape my decisions. Actively engaged as a parent, I have volunteered in classrooms, led initiatives to support teachers, and contributed to school fundraising efforts, so I am familiar with many of the current successes and challenges. I am committed to hearing all sides of an issue and using collaboration to come up with solutions that benefit the community as a whole.
