Rankin County is experiencing rapid growth, and with that growth comes increased pressure on our roads, drainage systems, schools, and first responders. My priority will be smart infrastructure investment that supports families and neighborhoods, not just developers. As a former firefighter/EMT, I understand the importance of strong public safety and will ensure that law enforcement and first responders have the necessary tools. I will also demand fiscal responsibility, keeping taxes low while ensuring every dollar is spent wisely. Finally, I will stand with families to protect property values and community standards while supporting youth programs that keep kids safe, active, and learning. In every challenge, my approach will be simple: serve with integrity, protect what we value, and put families first.
I believe county government works best when leaders put aside politics and focus on what families need—safe neighborhoods, good infrastructure, and responsible spending. I will always listen first, consider all perspectives, and work toward fair, common-sense solutions. My background as a firefighter/EMT and small business owner has taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and professionalism. Even when there are disagreements, I will remain respectful and focused on what is best for District 2.
By keeping priorities rooted in service, accountability, and community values, I believe we can build trust and get results for Rankin County.
I am a lifelong resident of the Reservoir area and have spent my life serving this community. I began as a Junior Firefighter at 15, later serving as a Volunteer Firefighter and then as a paid Firefighter/EMT. Those experiences instilled in me a commitment to hard work, accountability, and prioritizing others. For 20 years, I’ve been blessed to raise our sons here with my wife, Melissa, and like many families, we want Rankin County to remain safe, strong, and family-centered. In my career, I’ve overseen multi-million-dollar projects across North America, experience that prepared me to handle county budgets with transparency and fiscal responsibility. As a small business owner, church leader, and former youth coach and board member at NWRAA, I’ve worked to strengthen the very community I now hope to serve. I will bring integrity, leadership, and real-world experience to the Board of Supervisors to protect taxpayer dollars and preserve our quality of life.
