Civil Rights /Human Rights. The Missouri Legislature has spent several sessions attempting to pass laws targetting the civil rights of Women the LGBTQ community. Abortion Bans with no exception for rape means a 10 year old rape victim is forced to try and carry their rapist baby. This usually result in the death or injury to the 10 year old rape victim. My opponet voted for the ban on abortion, voted not to allow an exception and voted to defund Planned Parenthood without ensuring the patients seen by PP had alternatives to get birth control, testing and treatment for STD's or Cancer screenings.

Groups are petitioning library boards to ban books from school and public libraries. If you do not like a book put it back on the shelf.
