I feel strongly about public safety, economic growth, and fiscal responsibility. Safe communities are a personal commitment. My family felt the impact of violent crime. I’ve fought to ensure law enforcement has the resources to protect our families. Creating a strong, vibrant economy is key to securing our family’s future. Like many of you, I experienced a job loss and know how it feels. I will continue working to create stable, good paying jobs with benefits like we did at the Ford plant. Finally, I believe government spending should reflect a clear return on investment for taxpayers. I’ve consistently pushed for responsible fiscal policies that lower taxes and improve public services. I signed the Senior Property Tax Assessment Freeze into law and was involved in cutting property taxes another three times. When it came to spending cuts, I started with my own pay, advocating a decrease in my own of nearly $30,000, and stopped construction of the unneeded $20,000,000 county annex.
My top priorities are supporting law enforcement and tackling the fentanyl crisis that is killing so many of our children. I will fight efforts to undermine law enforcement and keep crime off our streets with increased funding for critical resources, modernizing dispatch centers, and enacting tougher penalties for violent offenses We must strengthen the laws that ban sanctuary cities and that require E-Verify, employers should hire only legally present workers. Clay County was in turmoil for years, marked by disfunction and rancorous fighting to the detriment of our citizens. We have gone from a laughingstock to a professional and stable government capable of negotiating with professional sports teams. I see similar discord in Jefferson City. I will bring my problem-solving experience to our state government and be a positive force to encourage a sense of cooperation. You deserve better and I will fight to make state government work for us and our families.

First, I believe we must end Missouri’s total abortion ban and I will work to restore access to safe, affordable reproductive healthcare. Second, as a mom to three and former teacher, I understand well the importance of quality schools for families in the Northland. I will continue to be a champion for strong public education. Third, I believe public safety is critical to the strength of our neighborhoods and our quality of life across our region and I will work to ensure law enforcement has the resources they need to keep our families safe.

I know what it means to people first. As a State Representative, I’ve worked across the aisle to secure significant investments in education, infrastructure and public safety. I’m committed to listening to the needs of my constituents to deliver real results for our community and state in the Missouri Senate.
My top I believe Missouri voters will enshrine the right to reproductive freedom and access to abortion in our Missouri Constitution this November. My top priority will be working in the Missouri Senate to respect the will of the voters and ensure that any bills proposed are in compliance with the constitutional right to reproductive freedom.
