Every day, I work to represent North Missouri’s values and priorities to Washington.
Everyone agrees our southern border is in complete chaos. Addressing this issue with a new Administration is my top priority.

We cannot trust candidates from the major parties to do the right thing for us. They spend money we don't have, they pass laws to infringe our rights, and they tell us they'll do more of this to save us from the problems they've created. It's unsustainable and we need to stop it.
My top priority would be controlling spending. Inflation, and it's second and third order effects, affect everyone. While I would love to fight for liberty first, we have to survive. I'll keep our fundamental freedoms in mind, but if we can't even afford survive, then how are we supposed to exercise them?

Two words that don’t seem to go together anymore are Congress and bipartisanship. Political party is a driving force, and there is little interest in seeking solutions for the common good. If Congress is mainly concerned with one party winning or losing, we all lose. To get things done, people in Congress must listen with open minds to diverse ideas from as many voices as possible. The priority for people in Congress should always be working hard to achieve the best outcomes for the people they represent.

Money talks, and the rest of us are ignored. There is too much special interest money in politics and too little integrity. We don’t elect our representatives to go to Washington and get rich. We elect them to listen to our concerns and to work to make life better now and for future generations. I'm running to offer inclusive representation and a fresh perspective in Washington D.C.
Healthcare, the economy, immigration, climate change, gun safety, education, equity, how do you choose? They all get lost anyway in the pursuit of money and power. Critical issues facing our country will not be seriously addressed unless we reclaim values of kindness, respect, honesty, integrity, and justice. We must reject a political system where evil becomes good, and lies masquerade as truth, and wrong becomes right. A governing philosophy of kicking the can down the road and doing the bare minimum needs to end. Hope for a better functioning Congress will only occur if an informed and engaged electorate votes for change.
