A lifelong resident of Cass County, my wife of 37 years, Gerrilyn, and I have raised three children while operating successful local businesses. I began my tenure in Cass County government in 2005 as an appraiser within the real estate division of the Assessor’s Office. Through hard work I rose to the rank of Chief Appraiser and eventually the elected role of Assessor.

As Assessor, it has been my job to assess the value of all real and tangible personal property in Cass County, fairly and in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri. It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Cass County as Assessor these past five years and look forward to serving another term.
If elected for another term, my number one priority is to implement Senate Bill 190, which allows seniors to freeze their property taxes as long as they live in their home.
