I am running for county commissioner because I believe voters deserve a choice in qualified candidates. The county has become a large complex organization. It is time to differentiate between partisan politics and issues of national importance from managing the county. The BOCC must step up to a leadership role in setting a vision for growth and establishing an implementation plan for that vision. We need a BOCC that is forward looking and capable of aligning the affected organizations, predicting the cost and impacts of growth and taking the necessary actions to proactively address growth. I am a conservative candidate who is willing to listen other to different points of view.
