It is my hope that I can help usher in a new sense of cooperation in the Idaho Legislature that is based on serving the needs of the people of this state rather than virtual signaling on extreme national issues.

I think too much time is wasted on trying to stake out the most extreme position on issues...issues that don't impact the lives of the average citizen. We need to spend more time listening to what people care about and not telling them what to care about.
In addition to being politically active since a very young age, I worked in the California legislature as an aide to State Senator Milton Marks.
I am both a product of public schools and a lifelong advocate for them. I believe that the State of Idaho needs to do more to ensure that our public schools are adequately funded, staffed, and that our school facilities are well maintained.

This should be a bedrock position for everyone in Idaho...regardless of whether you have kids in schools or not. Public education touches everyone, either directly or indirectly. We need to do more to make sure our schools are the best they can be.
Absolutely yes. I believe that women's healthcare in Idaho has been hurt by the (hopefully) unintended consequences of the extreme abortion ban. Women should not have to face the possibility of death when they need anything that remotely appears like an abortion.

OB/GYNs should be able to practice without the fear of criminal prosecution for doing their jobs.

Idaho should never be in a position to replicate the circumstances that led to the death of Amber Thurman in Georgia.
My goal is to be a good public servant. I am not seeking elective office to satisfy illusions of self-aggrandizement. I merely wish to do a good job for my constituents and for the State of Idaho.

With that in mind, the only thing that I am asking for is votes. I hope that my women and men in my district will give me every consideration in this race.
