I aim to restore balance and reason to the Idaho Legislature. Running as an Independent, my allegiance is to the people of District 2 and all of Idaho—not to any political party or extremist group. For over 20 years, one party has controlled the Legislature, allowing extreme policies to take root while ignoring the voices of everyday Idahoans. It’s time we focus on real issues rather than wasting taxpayer money on fringe legislation. I'll fight for policies that strengthen education, protect our environment, support Career Technical Education, and ensure every citizen’s voice is heard. Idaho deserves leadership that listens and acts in the best interests of all, not just a select few. It’s time for a change and I'm ready to bring it.
With 24 years of service in law enforcement, I held nearly every role from patrol deputy to chief, giving me a deep understanding of leadership, accountability, and public safety. I am a graduate of the Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy and was honored with the highest award for Idaho peace officers. In addition to my law enforcement career, I served as both a City Councilor and Mayor of St. Maries, where I led initiatives to conserve local resources and improve public services. I also served as an Advanced EMT with the St. Maries Ambulance service for 16 years. My life’s work has been about serving and protecting the people of our region. I am well-prepared to represent the people of District 2 and all of Idaho.
We must stop the extremism that took over the Idaho Legislature in 2024. These actions are costly to taxpayers and distract from addressing real issues. It’s time to return to common sense and focus on serving Idahoans. With budget surpluses ending, we must be more prudent with taxpayer dollars. Idaho cannot afford to waste money defending unconstitutional laws. I bring years of experience in government budgeting and a commitment to responsible spending. I’ll work to ensure that taxpayer funds are used wisely, prioritizing the needs of Idaho’s people.
Yes. The Idaho Legislature should not interfere in medical decisions between a highly trained physician and a patient. Criminalizing doctors and pregnant women facing life-threatening complications is dangerous and irresponsible. This law is another example of extremism, fear-mongering, and wasted taxpayer money defending it in court. It also harms access to healthcare in Idaho, as doctors may leave the state rather than risk prosecution. We need to trust medical professionals to make the best decisions for their patients.
As an Independent candidate, I am committed to listening and representing the people of District 2 and all of Idaho. With a lifetime of public service and dedication to common sense solutions, I am not beholden to any political party or extremist group. My opponent’s A+ rating from the Idaho Freedom Foundation reflects voting in line with their agenda, which often goes against the best interests of most Idahoans. It’s time for leadership that puts people over politics. Let’s make that change together.
