ROAD IMPROVEMENT MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL
Shall the previously voted increase in millage allowed under Article IX, Section 6, of the Michigan Constitution, in Torch Lake Township, of 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) reduced to 0.9715 mills ($0.9715 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks be renewed at up to 0.9715 mills ($0.9715 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for five (5) years, 2023 through 2027, both inclusive, to provide revenue for the maintenance, rehabilitation, repair, reconstruction and improvement of public roads within the Township as prioritized by the Torch Lake Township Board? The estimated revenue the Township will collect in the first year, if this millage is approved and levied, is $107,793.65.
