I love my town and its residents! They inspire me! As an RN in the Operating Room, I advocated for my patients on both good and difficult days and in unfamiliar settings. I love to advocate for town residents in much the same way, in addition to fulfilling my statutory duties as a Town of Wilson Supervisor and Sanitary Commissioner.
Annexation must be contained. Clearly annexation cannot be fully stopped. I intend to continue working with all legal resources and strategize with our attorneys in areas. On such area is using our Sanitary Sewer Districts utility to slow annexation by being constantly aware of current threats and taking advantage of all possible options. The purpose is not only to protect the pro-environment beautiful area we chose for our homes, but to protect our tax base to care for it.

Advocating for, and educating town residents: I will continue to raise the residents knowledge of the town's municipal government at work, current events in the town, and how the town ordinances and state statures can work in their favor, or against those who violate them. Coming to town board meetings gets first hand information as it happens. Information on all things Town of Wilson is available on the town website, townwilson.com, online. It can be accessed in the town app, available for download.

I am happy to take phone calls and meet in person to answer all questions and work with town residents. All contact phone numbers and links are published on the town website. You can stop in the town office, 5935 S Business Dr., Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 4:30pm.
Experience is extremely important from day one as a town supervisor. I attended town board meetings for six years as the Town of Wilson First Responders Service Director before running for town supervisor. This enabled me to learn the job and its demands . This allowed me to understand if I was a good fit and could devote the time, energy, and dedication I needed to succeed in serving the Town of Wilson residents. With 10 years of experience on the Town of Wilson Board, I have developed more tools and sharpened my skills. I am current on all issues affecting the town. I know the town residents and they know me. They know they can call and I will respond and follow through!

Relevant Experience Current Board member for the Town of Wilson. I have spent the last 20 years working in county government in various positions. I am currently the Director of the Veterans Service Office and have been serving in this position since 2019. Within in the veterans service office I also have a veterans service commission. I have a budget for the service office and a separate on for the commission. I am a retired from the Army after 23 years of service. The last 14 years of service I have served in various leadership positions. I have managed numerous budgets and hundreds of personnel. During my time in service I had multiple deployments to the middle east. I feel that serving in these various roles makes me a well rounded person to help move the Town of Wilson forward in the coming years.
My seat is currently up for election. I feel with my diverse background and experiences, I can help the Town of Wilson continue to move in a forward direction and meet the needs of the towns people. I feel it is important, as leaders, we not only hear the people we serve, but we listen to their needs and concerns. There are challenges ahead that we must face to help ensure that we keep as much of the beauty of the town while trying to grow our community for our future generations to enjoy.
One goal is to mitigate and stop the loss of land in the Town of Wilson. We will work together, as a board, collectively with the towns people, to explore all opportunities for our preservation. As second goal is to work with the City of Sheboygan to expand our waste water lift stations. With new homes and subdivisions being built, the Town of Wilson will need the City to pay their fair share. We can do this by working closely with the city and look to what our current needs are but also or future needs.
With over 23 years of military service, I have worked with multiple multi-million dollar budgets. I have served in various leadership roles since 2000. I currently serve in a role that works with a variety of issues and challenges. I work with the federal, state, and local government. I have worked for Sheboygan County since 2004 and familiar with and how government budgets and spending is conducted. Given my diverse background, I feel that I am a great candidate to represent the Town of Wilson.
