CIty of Plymouth Aldermanic District #1

City of Plymouth Alderman, District 1. Includes wards 1 - 3. The Common Council is the legislative branch of Plymouth City government and is the forum for review and debate of proposed ordinances, resolutions, and policies proposed by the standing Council committees and boards, and commissions.  The City of Plymouth Common Council has eight part-time alderpersons representing four aldermanic districts (2 alderperson per district). Each alderperson serves a two-year term. Terms are staggered so only one of the 2 positions is elected each year.  The Council has the following standing committees.Committee of the Whole (Entire Common Council)Finance & Personnel Committee (4 Council members and Mayor)Public Works & Utilities Committee (4 Council members and Mayor)Review the City of Plymouth webpage for more information and to learn how to contact your Alderperson.
