Why are you running for this office? What are your top priorities?
I am running for Housing Authority for several reasons. As a social worker, I have seen the benefits of clients being able to live in public housing and at the same time, their frustrations of dealing with issues when living in public housing. I have also heard the comments of feeling like an outsider in their own community.
I hope to work on these issues: making residency in public housing as transparent as possible and to ensure that the residents of our public housing feel a part of the greater Town community.
I am currently working on sustainability at our public housing sites focusing on how to reduce the carbon footprint within budget limitations.
