West Maui District 14 will have a strong voice at the State level with me since I bring eight years of Maui County Council experience, knowledge and rapport to the table. I have legislative and budgetary experience. I have always prided myself in having the Pulse of the community I represent and make it a point to continue an open door policy to All to strengthen this connection.
Supporting certain legislation like No Fundraising during Session. Initiating investigations. County Council works within the confines of Sunshine Law and I would like this type of open and transparency practice to a certain extent happen on the State Level.
Support Managed Retreat actions, invest in renewable energy, restore nature to absorb carbon, switch to sustainable transport, support disaster recovery preparedness. Support the Hawaii Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Commissions efforts.
