While Montgomery County is a diverse community, we want the same things: safe streets, county programs and services that are accessible and serve all the residents. A County Commissioner must also recognize the individual needs and concerns of each diverse community. You cannot sit in a chamber and know what the residents’ concerns are. You have to visit, listen and learn what each diverse community needs. As a candidate I have already started connecting with community leaders. As a commissioner I would continue to visit, listen and learn.
