Throughout this campaign I have made it my mission to raise up a body of wise citizens everywhere we go. I have shared in person and even on one of my fliers that the best way to make your voice heard in government is to cast your vote, in May. And instead of seeking an uninformed audience of supporters I have challenged people in nearly every interaction to check out all 8+ candidates in this race and find the one that suits them the best.

I want to see renewal in this nation, and a wise, informed, involved body of citizens is essential to achieving that end. I would be honored to help be a voice championing a better, informed turnout.
My first choice for committee would be Oversight and Accountability. It is critical that Congress does its job to pass legislation and hold the executive branch & the non-elected bureaucrats accountable to do their job by fiercely wielding the power of the purse strings. As a member of the O&A committee, I would be honored to leverage the skills I've developed in keeping others accountable through my role in construction to keeping others in line with the intent of legislation.

Second would be the House Committee on Ag. Recognizing that agriculture is one of the primary industries in Northeast Indiana, and that NE Indiana should lead in this sector of industry, I would be thrilled to be an intentional voice for our farmers in Congress.
While many of these issues are important to consider, of paramount importance to our future are debt reduction and immigration. As a member of congress I would be an advocate for inspiring congress to do its job well. Be the voice of the people, not politicians seeking neutral positions to secure re-election. Use the purse strings to punish the executive branch when it allows our border to be so porous. Cut spending on the bureaucratic state, reduce spending abroad, and focus efforts on paying down national debt so that we do not saddle the next generations with our inability to balance a budget.
As a husband, father, builder, and servant of Jesus Christ, I am committed to serving Northeast Indiana well in whatever role I am called to fulfill. I recognize that we have hard days ahead of us--we are more divided than ever, we have tossed our moral compass aside as perverse ideology penetrates every level of society, we have a border crisis, we have a debt crisis, we are involved in multiple wars abroad, and all the while, our federal government feels distant and self-interested. Even so, I still believe in us! So long as Jesus is on the throne of the universe (and He is), and our Constitution is in place, we have hope of renewal if a new generation of servant leaders is willing to rise up and work alongside a body of wise citizens who are committed to seeing renewal in our lifetimes. But it is going to take all of us. Will you join me?

Voter education and awareness is key for voter turnout in Indiana. Making sure that Indiana has safe and secure elections is a priority that I plan to champion so that voters are not left behind and are able to participate in the electoral process.
Once elected, I hope to serve on the House Judiciary, Armed Services, and Agriculture committees. As a licensed attorney and former judge, I could bring an inside perspective and insight to the House Judiciary Committee. As a military wife and mother and also a member of our community here in Northeast Indiana where we have many defense contractors, I believe that having a prepared military is of utmost importance. I want to serve on the Agriculture Committee because Northeast Indiana is such a heavy agriculture district with corn and soybean being the number one most farmed commodity. It is important to protect Hoosier farmers.
I am running for Congress to bring back a strong America. In order to have a strong America we need to secure our border and bolster our economy, and those are the two things I fight for with urgency in Congress.

Biden’s wide-open border turned every state into a border state – even Indiana. I saw the effects of it in my courtroom. Crime is rampant and deadly substances like fentanyl are smuggled in every single day.

I also know that families here in Northeast Indiana are struggling to afford things like food, gas, and rent because of the relentless cost of living crisis brought on by Democrats reckless spending policies. I saw this day in and day out from the bench. I will fight to curb this endless spending to bolster our economy.

By getting the public back involved again. Members work for the people, not the other way around. We will have quarterly town halls and focus on educating the district on all things government and what influence the people have to change the country's course. I will be home working in the district more than I will be gone. Indiana's' 3rd district will be the leader in the state when it comes to being involved and fixing the things we can control. I hope the other Districts will see what we are doing in District 3 and partner with us to keep Indiana a great place to live and raise a family. It's not the members who will fix our problems its the people of this country.
Rules Committee is one of the most important when it comes to debating legislation. It influences the introduction and process of legislation through the House.

I'd also like to serve on the Committee on Veterans Affairs. I am a combat veteran who served multiple tours in Iraq and retired as a 1SG, I understand how important it is to take care of our Veterans. They served and America should take care of those who took care of us.
I want to significantly reduce government spending and live within our means. I will work with other freshman members and get to know them regardless of party. We have to work together and stop the fighting amongst each other if we are to find common ground. We also have to focus on the district and what we can do to influence our members and party. If you get the public back involved many of our problems can be fixed.

I want to organize our gun community and make sure that we have a robust support for our 2nd amendment. Our gun community will be the prevailing voice when it comes to electing people who will uphold and follow the Constitution and not work around it.

There are several things that could be done to promote more civic involvement. First is assuring election integrity by ensuring all states abide by the same rules. Second is getting big money out of politics. Third is reapportioning the house, the founders never intended for house districts to contain 700k plus people and by not adding members since 1913 it has only solidified power in fewer hands and inject more money into the process.
Committee appointments aren't guaranteed, so I would apply to Armed Services, Appropriations, DHS, Select Intel, and Veterans Affairs'. Those are the policy areas I have expertise in, but also when it comes to Armed Services or Appropriations they have a large impact on our district due to our National Guard units and defense industry here. Also because the defense budget is 60% of discretionary spending it is the place to move the needle to the right on spending if we can't get a bigger win on something like a balanced budget amendment. I am the only candidate with the experience to be able to make reasonable cuts to the waste and fraud within defense without compromising the mission or our troops well being.
Immigration, especially securing our southern border is top of the list right now. This is followed closely by debt reduction. I would work across the aisle just as I did when working for Senator Braun, by finding the 1% of things we agree on and expanding on it from there. There are some issues that I will never compromise on, like life or 2nd amendment protection. However, in other areas if the deal is good enough it is worth being pragmatic, because if you are an absolutist on everything you can't even inch the needle to the right. For example I wouldn't normally be in favor of increasing the debt ceiling, but if attached to it was a balanced budget amendment, it would be worth it.
I do not personally have a youtube channel. However, I believe that this interview gives the most detail on why I would be the best candidate to succeed Rep. Banks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9DdDCHOAwU

Specific to Indiana's election laws, I wouldn't recommend any changes at this time. Indiana has one of the most secure election infrastructures in the country, for which all Hoosiers should be thankful. Besides secure elections, participatory democracy is fueled by the cultivation of civic virtue, which in turn is a product of education. So, I am more inclined to champion private organizations and public school curriculums that encourage and teach civics eduction than I am to advocate changing election laws. Informed citizens know that voting is both a right and a privilege, and they will see it as their sacred duty to exercise their vote at every opportunity.
Northeast Indiana, where District 3 is situated, is mostly rural agriculture outside of Fort Wayne. So to best represent the people here, my aim is to be on the House Agriculture Committee, where I can influence the Farm Bill and other Ag-related legislation. Short of that, I would like to be on the Ag Appropriations Committee, which also touches Ag-related issues. Northeast Indiana farmers need an Ag advocate in congress, one who will give them a seat at the table and champion their interests -- such as opening new markets and protection from onerous regulations and dangerous laws like Prop 12 in California. I'm an America First-Farmers First candidate: what's good for Hoosier farmers is good for America.
I've said unequivocally that my first priority in congress is to finish the wall, secure the border, and stop the flood of illegal immigration pouring into America. I'll also introduce legislation that better secures our northern border and ports of entry, which are also used as conduits for drugs and human trafficking. My other priorities will be to pass the Farm Bill (which is now overdue) and to reduce our national debt. Aside from open borders, America's growing debt is the gravest threat to our national security. Reducing it, and putting our fiscal house in order, are imperative not only for our national security but also for America's economic prosperity now and for generations to come. We owe it to our children and grandchildren.
