I would support legislation that removes criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women facing life-threatening pregnancy complications. Removing such laws are vital to safeguarding maternal health and respecting individual autonomy for all people in the U.S. Pregnancy complications can endanger both the mother and fetus, necessitating informed medical decisions without fear of legal repercussions. Empowering individuals and families to make these difficult choices with medical experts is a fundamental liberty. Legislators must prioritize access to essential medical care and ensure that legal barriers do not impede critical medical decisions. I support legislation that upholds the health and autonomy of pregnant individuals.
I am committed to representing my entire district and value feedback from constituents. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions, ideas, or concerns.
