I’m committed to championing policies that encourage economic growth and job creation while addressing the challenges posed by soaring government spending. Property taxes have reached burdensome levels. My goal is to rein in government spending, reduce waste, and lower the tax burden on families and businesses.

As a mother and former educator, I understand the significance of a robust education system that respects parental rights. I believe each child has distinct needs, and parents should have the freedom to choose the best educational path for their child. I have always advocated for parental involvement in education, promoting collaboration between educators and parents to build a strong foundation for students.
My commitment to public service led me to intern for two years with Representative Judy Boyle. I actively participated in Idaho’s Empowering Parents Parent Advisory Panel and served on the Superintendent of Education's Transition Team. One of my most notable achievements is authoring and championing the Parental Bill of Rights. This groundbreaking legislation formally recognizes parents as the primary stakeholders in their child’s upbringing, marking a significant departure from previous norms. Understanding the legislative process is crucial for effective lawmaking. With this background, I am confident in my ability to serve my constituents effectively and make meaningful contributions to the legislative process.
Idaho's rapid growth presents significant challenges across various sectors, including strains on infrastructure, rising living costs, and impacts on education and healthcare. Managing this growth while ensuring the well-being of all Idahoans is paramount. Safeguarding our children's well-being is crucial, given alarming rates of youth depression and suicide and below-average academic performance. By addressing these issues, I aim to ensure that no Idahoan is left behind and that our state continues to thrive in the face of rapid change.
I believe that life begins at conception and hold a strong conviction to protect the life of the unborn. However, when a pregnant woman faces life-threatening complications that jeopardize her own health, a delicate balance must be struck. Instead, the focus should be on ensuring that every effort is made to save both the mother and the baby. It is essential to exhaust all medical options to preserve the life of the unborn child. By approaching these situations with compassion and a commitment to preserving life, we can navigate these challenging scenarios in a manner that upholds the dignity and well-being of all involved.
My dedication to advocating for children, parental rights, and individual freedoms shines through in my longstanding commitment to these principles. As a proponent of responsible government, I prioritize listening to the voices of the people and upholding transparency in decision-making processes. Recognizing that the safety of our families, children, and nation hinges on maintaining a secure border and protecting our sovereignty, I emphasize the importance of these fundamental principles. Amidst this critical juncture, safeguarding Idaho's sovereignty has never been more imperative. By ensuring that decisions are made in the best interests of our communities and preserving our cherished values, we can uphold the integrity of our state.

I look forward to continuing to represent my District in all decisions. Protecting our liberties, keeping Idaho families safe, improving the economy and putting more money into Idahoans' pockets will be a focus.
I have now served 2 years in the Legislature. I have served on the Revenue & Taxation Committee, Local Government, and Judicary & Rules Committee. Prior to being a State Representative I served my community in many different capacities. I Chair the Nampa Venue Advisory Commission and sit on the Salvation Army Board of Directors, just to name a couple. I was also named an Ag All-Star by the Food Producers and serve as a member of the Idaho Endowment Fund Investment Board.
We seem to continually face out of state pressures to change the way Idaho does business or is regulated. It is as important to stop bad legislation as it is to support good legislation. Issues that concern growth, transportation, and infrastructure will be key. Also, I voted to support our law enforcement by giving them tools to fight against the flow of Fentanyl into our state. This, and other illegal activity, will continue to be a focus in stopping.
I am pro-life and we have dealt with this during the session. I will defend the rights of the unborn and want to support pro-life laws. There is also the need to support mother's lives and their well-being. We should be able to mindfully protect our unborn, their mothers, and the doctors they depend on.
Being a Representative has been a great experience for me. However, it comes with a great of deal of stress. Most issues have at least two sides and some are clear while others are a matter of degree. I always look to my District for direction and input while considering the impact to all of Idaho. Often, I will hear from many constituents that have different opinions on the same issue. Ultimately, it takes someone - in this case me - to make a "yes" or "no" decision. I am running for reelection in hopes that I will be allowed to return to the legislature and use my experience, hard work, and dedication to represent my District, Nampa, and the people of Idaho.
