Biographical Information

What are the top three legislative priorities you believe the Indiana General Assembly should address in the upcoming session?

What do you see as the unique opportunities and challenges facing Marion County and how will you work to address them? How will those efforts impact the broader Central Indiana region and/or the rest of the state?

What should the state government do to provide an equitable, quality education for all children pre-K through grade 12?

What measures would you propose to increase voter engagement and access in our state?

I believe environmental legislation in response to climate change is necessary.

I support a woman’s right to access birth control, Plan B, and to travel out of state to obtain a safe and legal abortion.

I would support policies aimed at increasing voters’ access to the polls, including automatic voter registration and expanding early & absentee voting.

I would oppose legislation that would restrict an individual’s access to gender-affirming health care.

I believe that gun safety legislation is necessary to prevent gun violence.

I would oppose legislation that restricts students and teachers from discussing race, gender, and sexual orientation in public schools.

Please offer any comments or clarification on your responses above.

Tackling homelessness, enshrining the right to abortion in state law, and tackling the rising cost of housing.
We must be a shining example to the rest of the state and show what we can become when we overcome congressional gridlock. We need to release funding to repair our infrastructure, we need to get and keep religion out of politics and we need to provide a safer and kinder future for future generations.
Heavily subsidize and regulate kindergarten and provide more funding to public schools that have lower test scores rather than the other way around.
Expanding mail in voting, limiting voter roll expungement and making voter registration automatic.
