Bethel Park is a home rule Municipality. The Police department reports directly to Municipal council. Personally I would like to see the police officers more involved in the community. Walking around the business and become more visible. I think that there is perception that our officers just ride around in a car and really aren't involved in the community. All officers should be held accountable for all their actions.
