I love the neighborhood in which I live, but while doing the 2020 Census I found many of the neighborhoods in 1st Ward were struggling. Residents would talk about unemployment during COVID, our school system, places for our children to play. Parent's talked about Williamson Park, and those who lost their jobs are worried about losing their homes. I would like the opportunity to help work towards solutions and keep our neighborhoods strong.
Morrisville Borough is a thriving community with great possibilities. Families need open spaces for children to play. Small businesses need support to grow their businesses, and empty storefronts need to have interaction in them. Although I have moved and lived all over the country, Morrisville is my last move. My house is the last home I will buy. My roots are here, and I plan on working hard to make this a growing and thriving community. To address these issues, we need to listen to what the people say and work as a cohesive council. Thank you.
