As a current Board of Health (BOH) member, I have great respect for the knowledgeable, caring, and hardworking Health Department staff, especially in this unprecedented time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since receiving my MPH and PhD in public health, I have spent forty years in teaching, research, and practice. I would be proud to be part of Wellesley's public health team by volunteering my expertise and experience. My top priorities include:
• Strengthening the capability and capacity of the BOH.
• Environmental protection.
• Mental and behavioral health.
• Improving the quality of life.
By prioritizing collaborative partnerships with all Town volunteer boards and committees, local businesses, and organizations, I can most effectively ensure our community's health, security, and safety.
