Candidate for Re-Election
I am a current Select Board, Town meeting member, former chair of Audit Committee and an accountant.
I am running for re-election to the Select Board to continue the work I have begun. I joined the Board to serve, and to bring an important skill set to the Board in a challenging time. I am an accountant and served as chair of the Audit Committee. As a Town Meeting Member, I have experience in Wellesley’s complex Town Government. My personal working style is persistent, collaborative engagement. I am a listener and a relationship builder. These qualities are critical for a successful Board member.
My goals: building reasonable budgets within our fiscal policies; continuing my work on “sustainable mobility” to improve access to alternative modes of transit; supporting our merchants recovery and re-invigorating downtown; engaging in the broader conversation on diversity equity and inclusion

I have the background, experience, and strategic perspective to be an invaluable member of the Select Board. I will leverage my financial acumen and collaborative leadership style to secure Wellesley’s future, including a vibrant downtown. My passion for Wellesley began with schools and library, and expanded to sustainability, housing, and mental health. Co-founded Building A Better Wellesley/serve on the Housing Task Force. Led strategic planning/budgeting for Wellesley Free Library. Co-chaired effort to save the branch libraries for future generations. My priorities: 1) housing affordability, for seniors/young families/workforce, by implementing the Housing Production Plan, 2) fiscal planning to enable first-rate school facilities, and 3) appropriate policies to address climate change.
