Greatest assets include prime agricultural soils, clean air and water, lakefront and proximity to Seneca Lake and Finger Lakes Wine Country. Challenges include protecting Seneca Lake and ensuring growth is life enhancing.
I am vice-chair of Seneca Watershed Intermunicipal Organization and active on town committees, which I created, like Agricultural Enhancement, Sustainability, Economic Development, and Comprehensive Plan.
Work with farmers to enhance their operations and control runoff. Revise town code to promote smart, sustainable growth Promote recycling and reusing to reduce landfilling and ensure the county landfill closes when the current contract ends
I've learned a lot in the last 4 years and try to be kind and make decisions that are in the best interest of all town residents, not just the few most personally involved in an issue.
The city and town do work together on road, water and sewer projects, and on recreation and other life-enhancing projects, that save money, and I will continue to look for ways to work with and support the city logo
