East Windsor Regional School District-Hightstown-1yr

The East Windsor Regional School District Board of Education covers East Windsor and Hightstown. It sets and evaluates education policy, establishes goals, sees that the district is moving forward responsibly and adopts a fiscally sound operating budget for the school district. The Board is comprised of nine members each serving three year terms. Seven members are East Windsor residents, voted on by East Windsor voters, and two members are Hightstown residents, voted on by Hightstown voters. Two positions are up in Hightstown, this one for one year of an unexpired term and another for a full three year term. One position is also up in East Windsor. All are uncontested.All members of the Board of Education volunteer their time and are not offered compensation.
