Pro and Con Arguments For and Against the Measure
This levy is a renewal and so will not raise taxes. It amounts to $42.80 per year for the owner of a $100,000 home. The levy pays for past and future upgrades to the city's water plant. Without the renewal, water rates may have to be increased. The five-year levy was previously approved in 2007 and 2012.
Failure of this levy may decrease property taxes slightly (but it may raise water rates).
