Experience and Qualifications I have worked for both the Town and Village and have worked with a variety of municipal records at both places. In working as the Secretary for the Supervisor I have been on the receiving end of money that is collected in the Town Clerk's Office and have helped with the Bookkeeping and account reconciliations. Much of my time has been spent in helping and serving the residents of the Town of Coeymans and Village of Ravena. I am currently taking classes from HVCC in Business-Accounting in order to increase my skills in the recording of monetary transactions.
Biography I was raised in Central New York and then attended Brigham Young University where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Family History. My husband Bryan and I then moved to the Glens Falls, NY area where we began raising our two daughters. Six years ago, my husband Bryan was offered a job here in Ravena at the RCS Community Library and we moved our family to this area.
Occupation and Special Skills I am skilled with using the computer, Word Office Suite and have the ability to quickly learn new computer programs. I have gained many research and organization skills in my work with Family History.

I have worked for both the Town and Village and have a good working knowledge of the records that are kept at the Town Clerk's Office. I have experience with the Town records and working with money and reconciliations. My experience and knowledge of how municipalities operate will be invaluable in the position of Town Clerk.
I would like to increase the accessibility of the current and historical records that are kept by the Town Clerk. I also would like to make it easier for residents of the Town to access the services of the Town Clerk's Office. The internet provides a great way to be able to increase this access. We are living in a digital age and the Town Clerk's Office should have more services available on-line for residents to access. logo
