I support a nonpartisan redistricting process.
I support early voting, no-excuse absentee voting, universal voter registration, same day voter registration, repealing voter ID laws, and the restoration of voting rights to felons who have served their time.
Additional transportation funding should come from the General Fund, primarily through eliminating corporate tax loopholes, creating a more progressive state income tax structure, reinstating the estate tax, increasing the tobacco tax to the national average, etc.
The number one priority has to be to pass nonpartisan legislative redistricting. Beyond that, my top priorities are (1) expanding health insurance coverage to every Virginian and ending the 10,000 person waiting list for people with disabilities to receive services, (2) passing commonsense gun safety legislation like universal background checks, eliminating the sale of assault rifles, etc, and (3) greater investments in renewable energy like wind and solar.
