QualificationsI served on the Haverford Township Free Library Board from 2002-2009. During that time we created a strategic plan for the Library's future, we revised the by-laws for the library, we wrote a new employee handbook, and we started the annual library gala which raises money for the library.
I have also been a teacher for more than 20 years and have a great deal of experience working with a variety of different people to complete important projects.
My top priorities are the following:
1. To work with the citizens of Haverford Township to write a new Comprehensive Plan which will set priorities for the future development in the Township.
2. To make our local government more transparent and accountable so citizens know what decisions are being made which effect their daily lives.
3. To ensure that every person in my Ward is heard and respected.
