For a self employed business owner to be successful it requires commitment, financial responsibility, and the ability to work with many people. These are all traits that I will bring to the Board. I have experience in fundraising and have served on boards to raise money for school districts in Clermont County. I have substitute teaching experience at all grade levels. And I have two children that have graduated from Batavia Schools and a third that is currently a Junior at Batavia High School. As a parent in the district I'm committed to improving the district and helping it grow.
Our biggest challenge is to prepare our students for life year to year as they grow through our school district and then beyond. We can do this with great teachers and administrators. We also need to provide the best facilities and technology available. We can do these things but all come at a price so being fiscally responsible and resourceful with all of our assets is vital.
I hope to work hard to improve on all the fine things at Batavia.
