Why are you seeking this office?

I am the incumbent in Denton Central Appraisal District Place 3. I wish to continue work towards a simple and fair process for taxpayers to protest property values.

What can elected members do that is different than the majority appointed members?

Elected members can advocate for taxpayers through opportunities to educate the public on the protest process.

How can elected members maintain independence from the majority appointed members?

Elected members must remain diligent in considering the taxpayers who have entrusted us with the responsibility to act in their best interest. This can be accomplished by working to implement Board policies that prevent tax entity candidates from obtaining elected positions.
