The most pressing issue in East Tennessee is a system that puts corporate profits over human survival. Working people in TN-01 are struggling with unpayable medical bills, rising living costs, and an underfunded public education system while Washington pours billions into war and corporate subsidies.
I plan to address this by fighting for universal healthcare through Medicare for All, fully funding our public schools, protecting our public lands, and removing corporate PAC money from politics. As someone without health insurance who lives this struggle daily, I will not compromise on basic human needs. Representation should start with listening to neighbors, naming corruption, and fighting for working families out loud in Congress.
