What professional and personal experiences make you the best candidate for this position?
My career as a chemist taught me to analyze complex issues, solve problems, and make fact-based decisions. I have led teams with diverse backgrounds, set measurable goals, and delivered results through collaboration and accountability. Those experiences prepared me to evaluate issues fairly, communicate effectively, and work toward practical solutions. My faith, community involvement, and commitment to constitutional principles have shaped my leadership style. I will serve with integrity, transparency, and a dedication to representing the Republicans of Sullivan and Hawkins Counties.
What are the most pressing issues in the office you are seeking, and how do you plan to address them?
The two most pressing issues are consistent application of the Republican Party bylaws and greater transparency. Bylaws should be applied fairly and equally. If they cannot be enforced consistently, they should be reviewed and clarified so everyone is treated the same. I also believe many Republicans do not know what the State Executive Committee does. I will improve communication through regular updates, local meetings, and outreach so Republicans understand the Committee's work and have an accessible representative who listens and advocates for them.
