Candidate- Why
I serve because service was modeled for me. I watched my grandmothers give their time, energy, and love to others without expecting anything in return. They taught me that real leadership is not about titles—it is about impact. It is about showing up, listening, and working to improve the lives of others. That same purpose led me to politics. I was drawn to be a part of the change that is committed to uplifting the community by education, empowerment, and action. I want to be involved in something that makes a meaningful difference in Montgomery County District 22.

My work has always centered on leadership, civic engagement, and creating opportunities for others. I believe in building stronger communities by encouraging participation, supporting local voices, and helping people realize their own potential.
Candidate- How
I lead by serving and by staying engaged. Whether I am working with non profits, supporting community events, encouraging civic participation, or helping others grow into their own leadership, I believe lasting change happens when people come together with purpose. My goal is to help create a stronger community where people feel informed, empowered, and connected. I hope to leave a legacy of leadership, service, and civic responsibility—one that inspires others to get involved and invest in the place we all call home.
Please describe your interest in this role.
This role allows me to more effectively advocate for sound public policy, keep residents informed, and strengthen communication on the issues, legislation, and decisions that directly impact Montgomery County District 22. It also provides an opportunity to ensure that the voices of our community are represented throughout the policymaking process.
If selected, what actions will you take to help empower voters?
In today’s political climate, it is more important than ever for people to understand that our vote is our voice. Every ballot cast is an opportunity to shape our communities, influence our future, and ensure that our voices are heard. So, as a call to action, it can be as simple as volunteering your time by showing up to candidate forums and helping spread the word. You can also use your digital presence by resharing candidates’ accounts to help mobilize the campaign in ways that go beyond your own skill set. If volunteering or media access is beyond your capacity, monetary donations is a meaningful way to contribute. Name recognition helps first-time voters, and reminding potential voters of a candidate’s agenda and early voting week.

We cannot wait until the office qualifying deadline to verify is a person is eligible to run as a Republican or not.
Candidate- What
I want to make sure that the Tennessee Republican Party Bylaws are enforced and followed. I will act as the direct pipeline of information between the state party leadership and the voters, and county parties within District 22. I will work with the Montgomery County Election Commission to verify the qualifications of candidates who desire to run for office as a Republican when they first contact the election commission to obtain a candidate petition to run as a Republican.

I have a desire to shape the party's direction, advocate for her community, and apply her extensive experience in grassroots conservative leadership.
If selected, what actions will you take to help empower voters?
I have emphasized that I am an active, longtime member of the party, not just an "election day Republican." I have served in various capacities within the local party infrastructure since 2002, including roles on the Montgomery County Republican Party Executive Committee, Chair of the Montgomery County Republican Party Bylaws Committee, the Past Co-Chairman of the Montgomery County Young Republicans, and Past President of the Montgomery County Republican Women's Club, and a longtime member of the Red River Republican Women's Club. Moving into the State Executive Committee allows me to directly influence state-level party governance, candidate vetting, and bylaws.
Have you previously held an elected office? If so, which office?
Clarksville City Councilman representing Ward 2. I served on the council for a total of 15 years across four terms: Initial Tenure (2007–2018): First elected in 2006 (making history as the first active-duty military spouse elected to the body) and served three consecutive four-year terms. Returned to Office (2022–2026): After a brief hiatus from the council, I ran as a write-in candidate in 2022 to fill a vacated seat, winning with 66% of the vote. She resigned from this seat in January 2026 to accept a federal job. I have also served as the Tennessee Commissioner to the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission (MIC3) since 2011; that role is a gubernatorial appointment rather than an elected public office.
