How have your previous experiences prepared you to succeed in this role?

Serving as Vice Chair of the Oak Hill Planning Commission has given me a strong understanding of our city's ordinances, planning process, and the careful decision-making required to preserve Oak Hill's unique character. Over the past two years, I've worked to evaluate development proposals, interpret city code, and balance the long-term interests of residents with responsible growth.

Professionally, I have more than twelve years of experience as an entrepreneur working with nonprofit and for-profit organizations to develop sustainable growth strategies and improve efficiency, strengthening my ability support City priorities.

I will serve as a thoughtful and informed Commissioner.

What will you do to ensure community voice is included in governance?

Community voice is one of Oak Hill's greatest strengths. Our residents care deeply about protecting the character of our city, and I believe good government begins with listening.

As a Planning Commissioner, I've already been working with the City Manager and City Administration to improve communication between the City and residents. If elected Commissioner, I will continue supporting clear, transparent communication and create additional opportunities for residents to engage with their elected officials.

I also believe accessibility matters. Residents should always feel comfortable reaching out with questions, concerns, or ideas, and I will remain available through my website, email, and in-person conversations.
