Please describe your interest in this role.
I am running for TNDP State Executive Committeeman for Senate District 19 because I believe Tennessee deserves leadership that puts people first and remains focused on the everyday challenges facing working families across our state. Too many Tennesseans are struggling with the rising cost of living Rent is high. Gas is high. Groceries are high. We need leaders who are focused on addressing the issues that matter most to Tennessee families. I am ready to help change what we think is possible in our state. I am ready to change the perception of "who" is even allowed to lead. I am ready to get to work because we have a lot to do.
If selected, what actions will you take to help empower voters?
As an organizer, I empower people every day to take action at their job, in their community, and at the ballot box. And for me, education is the most critical part of empowerment. If selected, I plan to continue sharing information, emphasizing the importance of civic engagement, and connecting the impact of voting (or not voting) to the daily life of the average person.
Have you previously held an elected office? If so, which office?
For the past two years, I have served on the Davidson County Democratic Party Executive Committee representing Council District 1. In this role, I have worked to support local Democratic organizing efforts, engage with constituents, and help strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
