Continue to streamline the record-keeping processes, make cemetery maintenance and future projects a high priority, and work to make Election processes and procedures easier for the local officials and for voters to maneuver and understand.

I am a licensed funeral director who has worked with multiple families during highly emotional times and sometimes with difficult family dynamics. I worked for three years to audit and correct cemetery records for Comstock Township and while doing so, learned all that I could about township government; I have brought those skills and township government knowledge to Richland Township, which have been key to making a smooth transition. Since February I have worked to understand processes and have implemented new and more efficient ways to manage the duties of the Clerk.

Keep working with the State and Kalamazoo County to work out the voting processes for all, whether it relates to ADA requirements, citizenship and/or residency requirements. Here in Richland, we are constantly streamlining the processes at the precincts and with Absentee Voter ballot mailing, with a consistency in voter file maintenance.
