Why are you running for this office?

I am running for office because I believe in putting people first, providing accountable leadership, and delivering practical solutions—values that have guided my career and my life.

My passion for public service began in 2007 when I started working for a fire department. Since then, serving others has given me a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.

As an elected official, I will keep residents informed about important Town issues, advocate for responsible growth while protecting our community from excessive high-density development, improve traffic and infrastructure, and ensure taxpayer dollars are managed wisely and effectively. I am committed to listening, leading with integrity, and making decisions that put our residents first.

How has your background prepared you to serve in this office?

For the past 19 years, I have built my career in public service and government, while also volunteering on Town of Farragut committees since 2023. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how government works and how to deliver results for residents.

As an Information Technology professional, I have managed complex projects and worked on critical systems supporting government agencies, major financial institutions, nuclear power facilities, and core Internet infrastructure. I bring a proven record of problem-solving, strategic planning, and fiscal responsibility.

I hold a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, providing both the technical and business expertise needed to ser

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

The most important responsibility of an Alderman is to be accountable to the residents of Farragut. As a representative of the people, an Alderman must listen, lead, and ensure that the priorities and values of our community are reflected in every decision.

The Town budget is one of the most important tools of local government and a key measure of leadership. I am committed to protecting taxpayer dollars, maintaining Farragut’s strong financial position, and preserving our tradition of operating without a property tax.

Responsible planning is essential to preserving the character and quality of life that make Farragut a desirable place to live. I will support thoughtful growth, protect property rights, and advocate for lower-density devel

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

I approach every agenda item with careful preparation, thoughtful analysis, and an unwavering commitment to serving the people of Farragut. I believe effective government is built on transparency, accessibility, and open communication.

Since being appointed to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, I have regularly held public meetings to listen to residents, answer questions, and share information on issues affecting our community. Keeping residents informed and engaged is a responsibility I take seriously.

I put the people of Farragut first in every decision I make. I am a diligent and hardworking public servant who invests the time necessary to understand each issue, consult with subject matter experts and stakeholders, and thoroughly review

What top three things will you prioritize if elected to this office?

If elected, my top priorities will be transparency, responsible growth, and fiscal stewardship. First, I will maintain open communication and transparent decision-making by remaining accessible to residents, listening to their concerns, and ensuring they are informed about important Town issues.

Second, I will support smart, responsible development that preserves Farragut’s character and quality of life.

Third, I will protect our financial health by carefully evaluating the long-term costs of expanding Town services, prioritizing the maintenance of existing infrastructure and adding new capital assets only when they provide clear value to the community.

What are the main points you want voters to remember about you and your candidacy?

I want voters to remember that this election is not about any one individual—it is about the future of the Town of Farragut and the legacy we leave for future generations. I am committed to preserving the qualities that make Farragut a desirable place to live while thoughtfully addressing the challenges and opportunities ahead. Residents deserve a voice in determining the Town’s path forward, and I will always listen, communicate openly, and represent their interests with integrity. My decisions will be guided by what is best for our community, our quality of life, and the long-term success of Farragut.
