What professional and personal experiences make you the best candidate for this position?
In addition to being a parent, I have been actively involved in school PTA/PTO including serving as PTA president. I have a diverse business background in retail jewelry and property management. I know how to balance a budget.
What are the most pressing issues in the office you are seeking, and how do you plan to address them?
Continued security upgrades in every Washington County school. Teacher pay, to bring salaries to as close as possible to our neighboring school districts to retain quality teachers.

Bachelor's degree in psychology
Masters degree in guidance and counseling
Served on various school board committees (curriculum, safety, textbook selection) while working in S. Florida
Have worked with various Superintendents, School Board members, principals, teachers, and PTA's throughout my years in education Have a good understanding of the inner workings of a school system.
