With 32 years of military service combined with private sector experience, I bring the leadership, discipline, and expertise needed to serve effectively on the county commission. I have extensive experience in preparing and managing budgets across multiple locations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency. My commitment to this community is demonstrated through years of local board service in various leadership roles. I currently serve as Chair of Girls Inc. of Greater Kingsport and Johnson City and Horizon Credit Union, and Vice President of the Tri-Cities Military Affairs Council. I am an active listener who values collaboration and believes that the best solutions come when everyone has a seat at the table and heard.

Accountability and transparency matter. The people of Washington County deserve a real voice in how their tax dollars are spent. We can be fiscally responsible while investing in our schools, infrastructure, and essential services. Infrastructure is more than roads and bridges—it’s about building a community where families can thrive. Washington County deserves clean air, clean water, and a safe future. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Families in our region are struggling with rising costs and limited options, made worse by the monopoly control of Ballad Health. People here work hard and deserve an economy that works for them—good-paying jobs, affordable housing, and the ability to put food on the table without falling behind.
