I've lived in and near Washington County for over 40 years and am a graduate of our local public schools and college. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a focus on sustainable land use planning, which informs my understanding of growth and stewardship. My professional background includes work in companion animal welfare, community outreach, and emergency veterinary care, where I served people in difficult situations with compassion and responsibility. I have remained civically engaged through local service, volunteer campaigns, and the Washington County 101 program. I'm stepping forward now because I believe this is a pivotal moment for our community, and I am ready to serve.

The most pressing issues facing our county center on how we respond to growth—its impact on infrastructure, housing, and the character of our community. As our county grows, we must invest in infrastructure that supports residents and make thoughtful decisions so growth benefits the people who live here. That includes supporting stable housing, ensuring development does not outpace our capacity, and carefully evaluating proposals for large-scale projects, such as data centers, to ensure they are compatible with our infrastructure, natural resources, and the long-term interests of our community. I believe decisions should be guided by fairness, long-term responsibility, and careful stewardship of public resources.
