I believe I am the best candidate for Washington County Commissioner District 7 because of my love for people. Professionally, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in the treatment of trauma and addiction. My experience working in nonprofits and running my own business have strengthened my skills in leadership, budgeting, problem-solving, and working collaboratively to serve the community. Personally, I am a curious individual who centers people and values doing the next right thing. Through organizing service projects, serving on nonprofit boards, and leading organizations dedicated to helping others, I have remained committed to working-class families, those facing hardship, and people whose voices are too often overlooked.

I see some of the most pressing issues facing Washington County as hope, housing, and healthcare. As a County Commissioner for District 7 I will prioritize residents' concerns and transparency of the Commission, so as to increase constituents' hopefulness about their future. Through creative work with experts, I will attract sustainable growth and good paying jobs with an emphasis on public schools, infrastructure, and green space. I plan to advocate for affordable, accessible housing so families and retirees can thrive. I will collaborate to expand access to quality healthcare services for all residents. I am committed to prioritizing natural resource protection and preservation that creates a wholesome place to live, work, and play.
