I bring over a decade of professional experience in nonprofit leadership, where I have managed complex programs, coordinated volunteers, and led successful fundraising and event efforts. Currently, as the Director of Equitable Nutrition & Food Access, I have navigated the intersection of public health, local agriculture, and economic access, giving me a practical understanding of how policy decisions directly impact everyday life. My role as Chair of Keep Jonesborough Beautiful has further sharpened my focus on environmental stewardship and community pride. I also served on the Horizon 2045 Advisory Board for the City of Johnson City, working alongside other professionals to create a rubric for Johnson City’s growth and economic development

Growth is coming to Washington County whether we plan for it or not. My goal is to make sure we're the ones steering it. That means protecting our rivers, our farmland, and the character of our neighborhoods while making smart infrastructure investments before we're in crisis mode rather than after. It means supporting our small businesses and farmers, who are the backbone of this community. And it means making sure residents actually have a seat at the table when decisions get made, not just a public comment period at the end of a process that's already been decided. Transparency isn't a feature of good government. It's the foundation of it.
