I want to make Montgomery County a better place to live, work, play, and worship. When our kids are grown, I hope they want to live here and raise their families.

Our priorities are our kiddos, infrastructure, public safety, and quality of life.

Working with the Commission we have been able to open and staff 4 schools in 4 years, build 3 new parks, open a new Fire training facility, start a paid Fire Department, expand public safety and infrastructure projects, and improve services in other areas. We will continue planning and working with our elected officials while focusing on our priorities.
What are the biggest policy issues affecting Montgomery County residents?
Keeping up with the growth. We are growing whether we want to or not. We have to look to the future and plan accordingly.
What will you do to support a thriving Montgomery County economy?
Focusing on commercial development will create opportunities for our residents, increase revenue for schools and infrastructure projects, while keeping property taxes down. With two new hospitals on the way, we need the higher end retail to help recruit doctors and other high paying jobs.
What will you do to improve local transportation accessibility?
Most of our biggest needs are our state roads. We have already started partnering with the State of Tennessee to get these projects moved to the front of the line. This takes us putting skin in the game along with us managing some of these projects at the County level. We will soon be starting construction on expanding Rossview Road to 5 lanes. This took about $20 million from local funds and $65 million from the state. We also just received permission and funded the right of way acquisition for state route 374. This project has been stalled for decades and we are pushing it forward. We continue to look for ways to increase our influence across the state. I serve on statewide committees and as President of the Association of County Mayors.

Overdevelopment, lack of transparency, lack of access to critical resources, lack of mental health care, budgetary discrepancies, inadequate resources for youth, failed priorities in tax-usage
What will you do to support a thriving Montgomery County economy?
Realign our vision for tax-incentive programs to boost our local farmers, reintroduce large scale festivals to allow affordable marketing opportunities for small businesses, offer social media literacy for small businesses, and create a youth employment program to improve our generational success and employment rate.
What will you do to improve local transportation accessibility?
Support our local transportation in recreating our public transportation routes, this should also include the potential expansion into the county regions if possible, with alternative options on size in order to safely access county roads while also lessening impact on fuel expenses.
